Luckily, Nevan is no longer "grassy" today. Unfortunately though, he has a "wunny nose".
My friends are always telling me that I ought to write down the things my kidos say. Last night I was with some gals and we talked about this very thing... recording the hilarious things that our children say. One of them talked about a blog she used to read that was one mom's diary of all those funny things. I think I'm gonna start keeping track of my children's funny moments here. Should be fun.
Here's one I 'll want to remember...
Last week I received a phone call from the Marion police station. "Is everything alright" the dispatcher asked? "Umm... yes" I stuttered. "We received a call from your home and wanted to make sure that you don't need any assistance." Humm, I wonder who could have called 911. When I questioned the boys, Trent said "the lady said it was an emergency." Brice said he just wanted to see what would happen. Good thing I answered the phone, otherwise we may of had a swat team outside.

Called 911? Well, I guess it's a good thing that he did--now you know for sure that they will respond when you call!!
Oh--I have some funny things my kids said when they were little that I will never forget, too!! Things blurted out in restaurants, grocery stores--and the funniest part is they don't even realize that what they have said is funny!!
